Marks, copyright, and what we do not claim

Effective 8 September 2026. Last updated 8 September 2026.

This is a classroom, not a seller. We do not copy official logos. We do not sell anyone else’s product. Company names appear the way a textbook uses them — so you can recognize a ticker later. This page is notice, not a promise that nobody can ever sue. It is not legal advice.

What is ours

Original classroom copy, layout, software, geometric letter marks, the four-square classroom icon, World Circuit, Tape AI copy, the world-globe classroom picture, and press stills we generated for this site are original to Real World Markets and were created by CTC. U.S. copyright attaches automatically when that work is written down. You may not scrape, resell, or pass them off as a brokerage terminal. You may quote short passages for criticism or teaching with credit.

Original on purpose

We write our own lessons, our own board, and our own desk. We do not clone another trading app, another classroom, or another board game. House names — Real World Markets™, World Circuit™, Desk Pass™, Tape AI™ — are ours. Circuit uses our own squares (Dividend day, Tape halt, Sidelines, News wire, Classroom, Forced halt, Pit quest, After hours) and our own cards (flash crash, margin call, size, haircut, IPO pop, rug pull). Those are market-desk words, not someone else’s tokens, Chance cards, street names, or mascots. A tape halt is a pause on a book, not a jail. Tape temperature is classroom breadth math, not anyone else’s fear-and-greed product. Charts, alerts, the paper bag, and the floor are our tools described in our voice. Nominative use of a ticker so a student can recognize AAPL later is not a clone of that company’s app. This notice is not a promise that nobody can sue. It is how we keep the product ours.

Our house mark — not a copyright of the name

Real World Markets™, RWM™, World Circuit™, Desk Pass™, and Tape AI™ are house marks we use for this classroom. A brand name is protected by trademark, not by copyright. Copyright covers the writing and the pictures. Trademark covers the name people use to find us. The ™ means we claim those names as ours in common law while we use them. It is not the same as ®, which only appears after a live U.S. registration. We do not put ® on our name because the mark is not registered.

What is not ours

Tickers, company names, coin names, index names, exchange names, and product nicknames — including without limitation Apple, AAPL, Microsoft, Nasdaq, S&P 500, Dow Jones, FTSE, Nikkei, Bitcoin, Ethereum, COMEX, CME, NYSE, Google, X, Yahoo, CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, and similar — remain the property of their respective owners. MiCA, ESMA, EBA, the FCA, FinCEN, MAS, JFSA, VARA, ADGM, and other regulators’ names stay with those shops. The Federal Reserve System stays with that System. FDIC stays with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. SWIFT stays with that cooperative. DTCC and NSCC stay with those shops. IMF, IBRD, the World Bank Group, and BIS stay with those institutions. NAIC stays with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. Lloyd’s stays with that market. CFTC stays with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. S&P 500® is a trademark of S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC. Nasdaq® is a trademark of Nasdaq, Inc. FTSE® and FTSE 100® are trademarks of FTSE International Limited. Nikkei® is a trademark of Nikkei Inc. Monopoly® is a trademark of Hasbro, Inc. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those owners, index providers, or exchanges. Letter discs on the board are our own colored initials, not official logos.

Nominative use, not a shop

We use those names only to teach what a share, a coin, an option, or an index is. There is no checkout. Nothing here is for sale. NFT rows are invented teaching floors (PFPX, BLUE, ART1, MINT), not Bored Ape, CryptoPunks, or any live collection. We do not mint, list, or broker NFTs.

News we do not write

Headlines on the wire are titles from public RSS. They belong to the publishers — including Yahoo Finance, CoinDesk, and Cointelegraph — and to the journalists who wrote them. We show a short title, a short line of at most a sentence, and a link out. We do not host the article, we do not reprint the body, we do not use their logos, and a headline here is not our reporting. If a rights holder wants a title dropped, use the takedown address below.

Data we do not own

Delayed last, when the line is up, may come from public chart endpoints. We are not Yahoo, CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, Bloomberg, a SIP, or an exchange. We do not license a professional quote. We do not claim copyright in those prints. Last can be late, wrong, or missing. You may not use it to place a live order. Options premiums and NFT floors on this board are teaching numbers we compute, not OCC or marketplace prints.

Type, icons, and open licenses

IBM Plex Sans and IBM Plex Mono are used under the SIL Open Font License. UI icons are Lucide under MIT. The spinning Earth uses three.js (MIT) and Natural Earth coastlines (public domain) via the world-atlas package (ISC). Natural Earth is not Creative Commons content we relicensed — it is public domain, and we do not claim it. We did not draw IBM Plex, Lucide, or Natural Earth. Third-party packages keep their own licenses in the software we run.

The world globe

The spinning Earth on Markets is a teaching picture, not a live exchange map and not a political claim. Country shapes are simplified Natural Earth outlines so a beginner can see a floor. A country lights from delayed last on the names we teach for that floor — not from every listing on earth. Crypto and FX have no country. We do not claim copyright in those delayed prints. Index names that color a floor — S&P 500®, Nasdaq®, Nikkei, FTSE, FTSE MIB, OMX, BIST, and the rest — remain their owners’. Look. Do not buy.

World Circuit is ours, not theirs

World Circuit is original classroom software: market listings, news wire cards, a halt, dividend day, size, haircut, and tape shocks. It is not Monopoly®, not a copy of that board, and not affiliated with Hasbro, Inc. or the owners of that mark. We do not use their tokens, mascots, Chance or Community Chest names, street names, or “Go to Jail.” Paper cash in the game has no value. A roll-and-land teaching loop is a genre; the names, cards, and lessons on this board are ours.

Floor notes

If you post on the floor, you keep whatever copyright you have in your own words. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host and display that note on this classroom so other people can read it. Do not paste other people’s articles, lyrics, or images. The clerk may remove a note that looks copied or that breaks house rules.

Takedown

If you are a rights holder and believe a page here copies your work, write [email protected] with subject [RWM-DMCA], a URL, a description of the work, and a statement that you are authorized to act. We will look. This classroom is U.S.-facing notice-and-takedown in spirit; we are not a registered DMCA agent and this is not a filing with the Copyright Office.

What this does not do

These notices do not make a lawsuit impossible. They document that we do not sell the names on the tape, we do not wear their logos, and we do not pretend to be their app. For the full contract see Terms.

LOOK DON'T BUY

Real World Markets is a classroom. We only teach — stocks, crypto, and how markets work. You can look at delayed last. You cannot buy here. We do not take orders or hold money. Not a broker. Not a CASP. Lessons are free.

Delayed public last when the feed is up — a number to look at, never a ticket. Paper results are hypothetical and have no cash value. Not a broker-dealer. Not a CASP or money transmitter. You cannot buy here.

Company names and tickers belong to their owners. We draw letter marks, not official logos. Not affiliated with Apple, Nasdaq, S&P, Yahoo, CoinGecko, or CoinMarketCap.

This classroom does not give financial advice. We do not tell you what to buy, sell, or hold. A lesson, delayed last, a paper fill, a quiz, Professor Moon, and a quote on the tree are teaching — not a recommendation, not a personalized plan, and not a reason to place a live order. We only teach. Educational classroom only. Not a seller. Not a market we operate. Not investment advice, not legal advice, not an offer to buy or sell, not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, CTA, or CIRO/CSA registrant. Not a CASP, VASP, MSB, money transmitter, or gambling operator. We do not custody, exchange, or transmit crypto-assets. We do not file a license for you. Not registered with the U.S. SEC, FINRA, CFTC, NFA, FinCEN, Canada’s CSA/CIRO, or Mexico’s CNBV. Last may be a delayed public print when the feed is up, or a teaching path if it is not — never a reason to trade. Options premiums and NFT floors are teaching numbers. Paper results are hypothetical and have no cash value. World Circuit is a paper board game, not gambling and not a live market. Past or simulated performance is not indicative of future results. CFTC Rule 4.41. Third-party names stay with their owners. Letter marks, not official logos.
