A live send is not a button that “moves coins.” It is a message: from these coins (or this account), pay that address, pay this fee, here is a or a chosen coin, here is the signature. The network checks the signature against the lock. If it matches and the coins are unspent, the message may sit in a page.

Bitcoin’s usual picture is UTXO: leftover coins from earlier payments, like change on a counter. You pick which leftovers to spend. Ethereum’s usual picture is an account with a balance and a . Two notebooks. Two ways to get a typo wrong. Neither has a recall button on the chain.
