Why the board has a language
A market floor talks in short words because the numbers move. . . Size. Those are not riddles meant to keep you out. They are labels for things you can point at.

If you skip the words, the board looks like a video game. If you learn them, you can read a quote the way a clerk reads it — and still refuse to buy anything you do not understand.
This path names the words. It will not tell you what to buy. When we use a market word, we say what it means in the same breath.
