A unique record, not a share
An is a non-fungible : a unique row on a chain that can point at a picture, a ticket, or nothing useful. It is not a share of a company and not a coin you can split like bitcoin. Two NFTs in the same collection are still different tokens.

Owning the is not the same as owning the copyright. Many collections license the art; some do not. Paying a floor does not make you the artist, and it does not make the picture scarce off-chain — anyone can screenshot it.
